So boot is open to the top. If i remove the passenger side Strut and disconnect it the Drivers side Strut will close allowing the boot to close fully manually. The Electrics will not open/close the boot if only one Drivers side strut is connected. If i disconnect both Struts and press the boot close button it still gives 3 Beeps in succession

Tue Nov 20 2012, 09:38am. Hi, Citroen C4 Picasso 2010 Right Hand Drive. My car's doors and boot are normally autolocked when the car reaches 6mph. When I stop and open my Right Front (driver's door)and try to open the boot the boot remains locked. However when the Left Front Passengers door is opened then the boot automatically unlocks.
I can only unlock the drivers door and the boot with the key not with the key fob but passenger door doesnt unlock,and when i press the fob to lock it locks the drivers door and the boot.It is driving Key fob is not working checked battery ok, programed it still no central lock ing working. Open manullay and still immobilizer stays on.

This does the warning sound and display and triggers the central locking which won't then lock as the car is saying the boot is open. The boot is fully closed and secure.
