🐏 Euro Truck Simulator 2 Adaptive Automatic Transmission
If you use adaptive transmission don't floor it when starting from a standing still. You need to go easy with the accellerator. Adaptive means: the more you press the accellerator, the lower the gear / higher rpm you will reach before shifting. So, don't press the accellerator all the way down. Ah, another thing: 12+2 gearbox is useless.
Adaptive Automatic Transmission help. So, the AAT, love it or hate it, it is very much so in the game, for the most part I like it however I have one issue with it. That is; I can not find any way to adjust it while driving, this seems kinda weird to me, especially considering that the steering wheel of the FH 16 has an ECO button on it.
I realy mis the Adaptive automatic transmission option. It stuck at 15 000 RPM That's not realistic for a automatic gearbox ! Now the engine feels wrong In euro truck 2 you have this option already. Explanation, what is a Adaptive Transmission ? : Sow you engine wil behave diftrent when you pulling heavy cargo, or you go uphill. Then the engine RPM wil go higher befor switching to a higher

Most of these can be found under Options>Gameplay. Use sequential gears (manual) if you feel like you can, or use Real Automatic (and enable Adaptive Automatic Transmission under Controls), if you have a steering wheel with a clutch setup (G25, G27, etc) then go for the H-shifter. Tick these options: Air Brake Simulation - everytime you use the
Hi, can anyone explain the difference between the various power modes for the Automatic Adaptive Trasmission (high, normal, eco) and when is best to use each type? Is high for high BHP trucks or for when you are towing a particularly heavy load and I assume eco is for saving fuel and I guess normal for everything else? Thanks.
I set the adaptive automatic transmission setting to power mode. However, the timing of the shift is not much different from when the accelerator is slightly pressed and when the accelerator is fully pressed.

How to change from manual to automatic in Euro Truck Simulator 2? Originally posted by Sandhill: In game, the clutch is not involved, unlike in the video. You must Escape to the "home" screen, go to Options/Controls, and , near the top, select Real Automatic from the Transmission dropdown, then rejoin the game. Same process to return to H-Shifter.
In SP, it depends of the truck, just to add more realism to the game. If I'm driving a new generation Scania, I would be using an automatic transmission (with some eco / power mode, so the behavior depends on how far do you press the gas pedal), and if I'm using an old Renault, or an old Scania (like a 114h), I would be using a manual, so you know the difference about driving experience
I've noticed that the Volvo FH16 2012 with the 750hp engine with the 6 speed geabox (with retarder) takes an obscenely long time to shift from third to fourth, even without a trailer, is it just me? I'm using real automatic with adaptive automatic transmission.
